2 weeks in!

Hey guys!

We're just about 2 weeks in and things are going quite fabulously! Greater than I could have hoped!

My clothes have started to fit a bit looser already! My self-esteem is as high as ever, and I'm feeling a whole lot happier than I have in a long time. This might not say much for the weight, but considering that I was, well to put it frankly, trying to end my own life only a mere few months ago, this is more than I could have ever hoped for. I thank all of my friends and my entire family for standing by me during the rough times, and I can now promise that things will be better. I feel like I am literally on top of the world.

If you'll notice, my background has changed. It is now a quote and picture of WWE Champion The Miz stating,

I DON'T GET BITTER.
I GET BETTER.


The Miz, arrogant though he is, has actually been my recent inspiration. Going back a little while, many thought Mike "The Miz" Mizanin was simply a "flash in the pan." He had been on a few seasons of MTV's "The Real World" and he just happened to think he could wrestle. He soon became part of a dominant tag team with the high flying "Johnny Nitro" John Morrison. The partners eventually went their separate ways, and many expected a little blast from the past, claiming a replay of the early 90's team "The Rockers." This team consisted of 2 fast paced, high flying superstars. One was named Marty Jannety. He would be a somewhat successful solo competitor, and often a crowd favorite. Even an Intercontinental Championship. What was his partner's name? It was the Showstopper, The Heartbreak Kid, and eventually dubbed Mr. WrestleMania. It was WWE legend and soon to be Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels. He would go on to conquer every aspect of professional wrestling the WWE had to offer.

What does this have to do with Miz and Morrison? Many said Morrison was the "Shawn Michaels" of the team. He was expected to rise fairly quickly to the top, and earn every possible accolade. Miz was to be the "Marty Janetty." He would be successful, and maybe even have somewhat of a following. What actually happened? The Miz is on the top of the WWE, earning first the US Title, the Money in the Bank briefcase and soon after, the WWE championship. The Miz overcame odds that were completely against him, and he did so in his own loud-mouthed, trash talking way. Nobody can stop the Miz right now, and nobody can stop me right now. I am on top, and nobody will bring me down.
